- Public Input (10 minutes)
- Jodi suggested more targeted intervention in the morning or ASC for ESL
- Create clubs for interventions? Parent volunteers?
- Talk to Savannah and Savannah (Jill)
- Talk to PTA (Jodi) to ask for involvement
- Katie asked about the school hours, if we will extend the school day.
- We are the same as all the other schools, except for 10 minutes at the end of the day for bussing purposes.

93.2% Blue at the end of the year, began First Grade at 63.3%

80% Green at the end of the year began First Grade in Red, 20% Yellow

Continue Kindergarten meetings in the summer to encourage reading.

Find data that we can compare those kids that participated to those that didn't. Did it help?

Tell parents earlier about this so they can plan on it.

Jill said Hillcrest will try to expand the program to all of Hillcrest, giving all students a summer library card.

Field Trips to the library at the end of the year for every class.

Help parents and students learn how to navigate the library and find leveled books.

Work with Logan Library for summer reading programs

Teachers will continue with ALO progress monitoring to continue to raise scores.

- Teaching students the components of being safe online.
- ComonSense.org - worked on during computer time with Ms. Pinnock
- GoGuardian used for student computers where teachers can monitor students.

- School Zone Update (5 minutes)
- Jill met with Hart and Doug Weber
- Signage is up to standard
- Flashing lights for the crosswalk will take 1-2 years
- Possible speed limit sign with speed underneath- in conjunction with Logan PD is an option
- Crosswalks in the middle of a street are too dangerous, they will not do those.
- They may come in conjunction with flashing lights in a few years,
- Yellow signs mean “School Zone”
- Suggested that we need signs before you get to the school toward the church, so drivers are aware a school is coming up.
- Jill will inquire about other signs we can get to slow down traffic around the school.
- Suggested that sIgns could be placed around all four corners of the school.
