Logan High

Welcome To
Hillcrest Elementary

Hillcrest is the first magnet school in Utah to house two DLI programs- Spanish and Portuguese.

Hillcrest Elementary School, located on Logan’s east bench, has been a cornerstone of the community for more than six decades. The original school was built in 1961 with just four classrooms, and two years later, additional classrooms and a cafeteria were added to meet the needs of a growing student body.

In 2020, a new Hillcrest Elementary was constructed on adjacent land, marking a new chapter in the school’s history. Designed with modern, energy-efficient features, the new building accommodates up to 600 students. In 2022 it became “home” to both of Logan School District’s DLI programs.

At Hillcrest Elementary, our mission is to ensure ALL students are inspired to be engaged lifelong learners and to excel as multilingual citizens in a diverse culture.
