Public Input: Debbie Brough asked if we had any interested parents in being on the LCSD School Board

Agenda:

• Reviewed training slides as a group
• Determined 25/26 meeting schedule. 4th Wednesday of the month: Nov 19, skip Dec, Jan 28, Feb 25, Mar 25, April 22 and May if needed.
• Chair/Vice Chair discussion
  • Katie nominated Jodi Baro for chair and Dora nominated Angel for vice chair. 
  • Vote will be by email before next meeting
• Bylaw changes to ensure compliance- a few small changes will be emailed for approval at next meeting
• Reviewed Parent and Family Engagement Policy
• Include outreach in newsletters
• ParentSquare help at PTC

Budget update

Hillcrest Updates:

• WIN hour updates- 20 min AM and PM working great
• Mixing English classes working well
• Husky High 5s
• NWEA data- 3x a year assessment for reading and math to triangulate data (district-wide)
